Knowledge & Skill Based Training Through simulation exercises, open debate, and resolution writing, the GC LAU MUN program cultivates conflict resolution and diplomatic skills, including coalition building, communication, and negotiation, and equips students with extensive knowledge of UN procedures and rules of diplomatic and protocol representation. Moreover, the GC LAU MUN program provides students with knowledge-based training in addressing demographic, economic, and political issues, as well as advocacy training in civic engagement and social service to better serve Lebanon’s civic society and philanthropic causes. Student Ambassadors Middle school and high school students act as ambassadors for different countries and tackle the problems of sustainable development, global terrorism, global poverty, dangerous epidemics, the spread of weapons of mass destruction, and environmental and ecological threats.
